Decent spot, the gas station was full of uHaul trucks making it harder but the slow traffic after the light saved the Day.―Anonymous

Get here early in the day to catch folks making a day trip to the Okanagan.Traffic volume is really low, but the percentage of drivers that are willing to stop is pretty high. I ended up getting a ride all the way to Kelowna.

Lots of cool folks around here, including many hippie fruit pickers. North or south, this is a good spot.―Anonymous

I have hitchhiked north from this spot multiple times. Even with two people I never had to wait more than 30 minutes. Go all the way to the gas station or stop even before, so that people may see you earlier. There is a traffic light which means traffic is slow half of the times. When I was there in early September 2015, maintenance was going on beside the road, making it easier using the right lane for hitchhiking. There also is a Tim Hortons right across the street.―Anonymous
